We're seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical part in executing seamless supply to our customers through overseeing and managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and optimising stock turnover to meet demand while minimising cost and waste.

About the Role:

  • You will track and manage all Finished goods, packaging, and raw materials for Grinders coffee within the Fairfield Roastery and across the National Distribution network.
  • You will ensure inventory systems are maintained and accurately reflect physical inventory.
  • You will communicate any supply risks (out of stocks and excess stock situations).
  • You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous supply.
  • You will coordinate and manage inbound orders from local and international suppliers, for raw coffee, packaging and bought-in finished goods.
  • You will monitor & review finished goods & raw material shelf life nationally.
  • You will frequently review network inventory position & system alerts. Identifying any supply issues.
  • You will actively be involved in quarterly SOX stock take process and reconciliation.
  • You will support SKU portfolio activities, promotions & NPD launches.
  • You will assist in the finished goods & packaging run out process.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • 3-5 years previous experience managing inventory, preferably within an FMCG environment.
  • Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
  • Understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
  • Ability to problem-solving with a high attention to detail.
  • Business Systems Aptitude – Planning (SAP APO), SAP ECC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
