Job Title: Equine Veterinary Nurse

Seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to provide exceptional care and support as an equine veterinary nurse in a seasonal night nursing capacity.

Responsibilities include patient treatments, assisting veterinarians with tasks and procedures, basic lab procedures, maintenance of equipment, and ordering medical supplies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in vet nursing desirable but not required
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Excellent horse handling skills and ability to perform physical exams
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft programs and full Driver's license

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced vet nurses to utilize their skill set or gain additional experience with neonates. The selected candidates will be exposed to all aspects of a thoroughbred breeding operation.
