Veterinary Care Professional

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team at our state-of-the-art equine hospital.
This is a seasonal role from July/August to December/January, offering the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in equine veterinary care in a supportive and experienced team environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous horse handling experience, excellent communication skills, and be aligned with our values of providing the best patient care and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians and other hospital staff with daily tasks and procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care and handling
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Requirements:
- Previous horse handling experience is essential
- Able to confidently work around young horses
- Genuine care and interest in patient care
- Prioritize and work effectively within a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
