Equine Care Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Equine Care Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our equine care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our horses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Horse Care: Assist in the daily management and upkeep of our horse studs, ensuring the highest standards of care and hygiene are maintained.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and maintain stalls, paddocks, and surrounding areas to provide a safe and healthy environment for our horses.
  • Nutrition and Hydration: Feed and water horses according to established schedules, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitor horse health and report any concerns or issues to supervisors promptly.
  • Equine Handling: Participate in routine veterinary procedures and handle horses safely and humanely.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working with horses is desirable but not essential; we are open to training the right candidate.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
  • Physical Demands: Physical fitness required to perform tasks such as lifting and bending, ensuring your own safety and the safety of others.
