Equine Care Specialist

As an Equine Care Specialist in the Equine Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting the operation and provision of services. Your key responsibilities include equine husbandry, facility maintenance, patient handling, inventory management, and training and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the care and husbandry of all equine patients within the centre.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and order in all areas.
- Handle equine patients safely for procedures within the hospital and on ambulatory visits.
- Assist in maintaining a full inventory of all barn activities and associated stock.
- Assist in demonstrating animal handling techniques to junior staff and undergraduate veterinary students.
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and compassionate individual with a strong background in equine husbandry and management. They will possess excellent attention to detail, a commitment to promoting animal welfare, and strong organisational skills.
