To sustain this growth, we have an opportunity for a driven Key Account Manager to be part of our highly successful global team.
The Role:
This position will see you responsible for actively managing your sales territory, key customer relationships, and activities, supporting marketing efforts, identifying customer trends and opportunities, and achieving/exceeding territory sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales and growth targets, delivering budgeted revenue.
- Engage with HCPs, Clinical Nurses, and Nurse Practitioners in Key Hospitals through face-to-face appointments, Department, and MDT meetings to provide disease and product education/awareness.
- Attend industry conferences relevant to therapeutic areas to expand knowledge and communicate findings to the greater team.
- Develop an annual strategic territory action plan and strategy for assigned products, revised quarterly.
- Identify and engage with KOLs to achieve advocacy.
- Focus on the pharmacy channel and support to ensure sales success.
- Promptly follow through on customer commitments and requests.
- Meet or exceed agreed reach and frequency targets with key HCPs.
- Monitor key financial areas, including monthly sales and expenditure recording.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of therapy areas to transfer into reasonable strategies and support future activities.
- Utilize strong technical knowledge and sales skills to build confidence in our brand.
**Requirements:**
- Demonstrated track record of success within Haematology and/or Oncology sales or key account management, with a national focus advantageous.
- Tertiary qualification in science, health, or business fields.
- Completion of Medicines Australia Continuing Education Program.
- Demonstrated local experience as a Hospital Specialist Representative/Key Account Manager with specialty medicines focus.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
- A proven record in business planning with demonstrable sales success.
- Highly organized with an ability to self-motivate and work autonomously.
**Estimated Salary Range:** £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a competitive commission structure and car allowance.
