With a focus on delivering exceptional results, we are seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative to join our team in Sydney's Outer West territory.


About the Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Business/Science graduate or an experienced professional looking to take their first step in healthcare within Pharmaceuticals. As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our client's market-leading portfolio to General Practitioners and driving sales growth in the region.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Increase product sales and drive market share through effective promotional activities and strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct necessary educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical information and therapies.
  • Meet sales call requirements and achieve sales targets.
  • Organise and host events such as dinner presentations and luncheons to engage with healthcare professionals and promote products.
  • Collaborate effectively with the territory team to achieve collective success and share best practices.
  • Become an expert in the therapeutic area, product, and market to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers.
  • Create proactive territory business plans to drive sales growth and improve market share.
  • Be adaptable and proficient in understanding the most recent clinical information for your portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to establish trust and credibility.
  • Maintain a high level of clinical and professional expertise to provide accurate and informed advice to customers.


Skills & Experience Required:
  • Tertiary qualifications (Science/Medicine or Business).
  • Proven Pharmaceuticals sales experience an advantage.
  • Strong Commercial & Clinical acumen to navigate complex market dynamics.
  • Previous Sales experience required for first-time entrants into Pharmaceuticals.
  • Field sales/territory management experience an advantage.
  • Superior communication skills to build rapport with healthcare professionals.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Full driver's license to travel efficiently across the region.
