Job Title: Facade Engineering Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facade Engineering Director to join our team at Meinhardt Group. As a global leader in engineering and design, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that transform industries and enhance the lives of our customers and communities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our facade business in Australia, contributing to the overall international facade strategy, and driving technical development for Meinhardt Group. Key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development and Client Engagement: Identify and win new work, maintain strong market connectivity, and develop key strategic clients.
  • Project Leadership and Delivery: Act as Project Director for selected projects, ensuring successful delivery and client engagement.
  • Team Development and Management: Mentor, coach, and develop staff, fostering a culture of professional growth.
  • Business Operations and Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day management, including financial processes and P&L responsibilities.
  • Strategic Contribution: Stabilize and grow the facade business in Australia, contribute to the overall international facade strategy, and participate in strategy discussions.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering or Science discipline.
  • Substantial industry experience within the sector.
  • Membership (or eligibility to be Member) of a relevant national or international accreditation body.
  • Registration (or eligibility to be registered) in relevant state's professional engineer register for the building/construction industry.
