About Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment

We are seeking a highly motivated and degree-qualified Structural Engineer to join our team as a Graduate/Junior Structural Engineer. Our client is a leading manufacturer and installer of insulated, fire-rated, and architectural facade systems, roofing systems, and temperature-controlled facilities.

About the Role

  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Liaise with other teams to discuss product, installation, and project requirements.
  • Perform hands-on structural analysis to ensure the integrity of buildings and structures.
  • Prepare detailed reports and conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical standards and industry developments.
  • Perform other tasks as defined by the General Manager Engineering.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold a degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Have construction industry experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Be familiar with Australian and New Zealand construction standards.
  • possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have high-level English written and verbal skills.
  • Have experience or knowledge of facades and panels, which would be highly regarded.
  • Be a team player who can work effectively in a collaborative environment and also work autonomously when required.
  • Be positive, driven, and determined.
