Job Title: Lifestyle Coordinator

Lifestyle Coordinators play a vital role in driving engagement, participation and energy of residents into social, recreational and cultural activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead programs that cater to social and recreational needs, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
  • Monitor and document the effectiveness of programs by tracking resident progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Design and implement mental health and wellbeing initiatives to empower residents' choices and independence.
  • Establish strong relationships with residents, their families and carers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide holistic care and support for residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of program delivery and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Leisure and Lifestyle.
  • Diversional Therapy Degree (desired).
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desired).
  • Previous experience in aged care setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety.
