Job Title:

Purpose of the Role

This role is designed to support individuals living with physical and mental disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). As a key member of our team, you will work closely with participants across Southwestern Sydney, engaging them in daily life activities and providing assistance for community support.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have experience working with people with psychosocial disabilities. You will be responsible for facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities, as well as assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and has a strong desire to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities:

  • Aiding with daily life activities and assistance for community support.
  • Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavours.
  • Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
  • Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in psychosocial disabilities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to do case notes through a mobile phone.
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check.
  • NSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates), access to a reliable car, and comprehensive car insurance.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Desirable: Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support.
