Life Skills Assistant

The role of a Life Skills Assistant is to provide personalized support and care to individuals with disabilities in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily life activities, such as accompanying clients to appointments and running errands.
  • Support clients in pursuing their educational and career goals.
  • Facilitate access to community programs, social events, and recreational activities.
  • Provide transportation services to enable clients to participate in daily activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with psychosocial disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check.
  • NSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates) and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • First Aid Certificate is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support.
