A typical day as a disability support worker may involve providing transportation assistance, medication management, and facilitating community participation and group centre activities.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current Police Check
  • A current driver's licence
  • Car registration and insurance
  • A relevant qualification in Disability or Aged Care or Individual Support (an added advantage)
  • Willingness to obtain a Victorian Working with Children's Check and NDIS worker screening check
  • A First Aid and CPR certificate
