Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at RCPA Holdings. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities, maintaining equipment, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety
    • Model safe leadership behaviors and uphold RCPA's safe systems of work.
    • Ensure the maintenance team has access to and operates within safe systems of work.
    • Provide technical input to safe systems of work and the management of identified hazards throughout the plant.
    • Engage third-party suppliers of services, materials, or equipment within RCPA's safety system requirements.
    • Actively ensure the change management process is applied, considering technical, environmental, and health aspects of proposed changes.
    • Contribute to the site Continuous Improvement Program as necessary.
  • Capital Expenditure
    • Contribute to key projects through technical input to selection, assessment, and execution/installation.
  • Maintenance Strategy and Systems
    • Assist in developing, documenting, and applying the Maintenance strategy for the site, including proactive and reactive maintenance.
    • Prioritize workflow, ensuring clear request processes are in place.
    • Respond effectively to maintenance action requests from other employees.
    • Provide feedback to key stakeholders on progress/action plans in dealing with maintenance issues.
    • Regularly review key equipment reliability and apply strategies to continuously improve.
    • Contribute to maintenance budget development and manage maintenance spend accordingly.
    • Engage third-party contractors as required to complete specialist maintenance or project tasks.
    • Assist with all routine statutory inspection requirements.
    • Ensure spares, materials, and consumables are ordered and available as required.
    • Maintain the maintenance workshop, spare parts storage, and consumables in a clean and efficient manner.
  • Production Support
    • Contribute to the development and application of automation initiatives and site projects to improve efficiencies and production throughput.
    • Engage with Production employees regarding operational issues and/or training to support efficient production and reliability of site equipment.
  • People
    • Ensure the maintenance team is trained, assessed, competent, and authorized to complete required tasks.
    • Monitor team behaviors and performance, including attendance rates, and address as necessary.
    • Liaise with the Production Supervisor to facilitate high levels of equipment availability and reliability.
Requirements
  • Trade-qualified Mechanical, Fitter, and Turner.
  • Intermediate knowledge and application of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Mex - CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) or equivalent.
  • Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Project Management.
Experience
  • Safety leadership.
  • Good understanding of Maintenance Management systems and tools.
  • Exposure to computer maintenance management systems.
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Experience in delivering change and sustainable improvement in a manufacturing/maintenance environment.
  • Forklift, EWP, confined space qualifications.
