About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate culinary professional to join our team as a Demi Chef. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional fine dining experiences for our guests.

Job Description

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work at the pinnacle of fine dining, crafting French-inspired cuisine with sweeping views of the River Derwent. You will be part of a dedicated kitchen team, working under the guidance of senior chefs to create elegant dishes that showcase the best of Tasmanian seasonal produce.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of menus, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other chefs to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement new ideas for menu items and cooking techniques.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar environment.
  • Genuine passion for working with high-quality Tasmanian produce.
  • Desire to create memorable, exceptional customer experiences.
  • Motivated and driven team player.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
