What you can expect in a day in this role :

For over 40 years, The Point Revolving Restaurant has welcomed thousands of visitors to enjoy its modern Australian French-inspired cuisine complemented by breathtaking, 360-degree views of Hobart and the River Derwent. The à la carte and gueridon service menu reflects Tasmanian seasonal produce and is prepared using traditional and modern techniques.

As a full-time Demi Chef in our iconic revolving restaurant, we are searching for a refined culinary professional who supports a dedicated kitchen, crafting elegant dishes with precision and flair under the guidance of senior chefs, contributing to the restaurant's reputation for exceptional fine dining.

What you will bring to the role :

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar environment,
• Genuine passion for working with high-quality Tasmanian produce,
• Desire to create memorable, exceptional customer experiences,
• Motivated and driven team player, and
• Flexibility to work across various shifts including weekends and public holidays.

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
