Key Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Auto Electricians to complete planned and unplanned maintenance of mining equipment. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed to required standards, adhering to site and statutory OH&S regulations.

Job Duties:

  • Completing scheduled and breakdown servicing on a variety of mining machinery
  • Fault finding, conducting repairs, and undertaking preventative maintenance
  • Minimizing production downtime
  • Actively engaging in the continuous improvement program
  • Ensuring all safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe workplace
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Qualifications:

  • Auto Electrician Trade Qualification
  • Certificate III in Automotive Electrical
  • Air Conditioning system servicing and license

Skills and Experience:

  • Post-trade experience, preferably working on mobile equipment
  • Excellent diagnostic and schematic reading knowledge
  • High level of initiative and flexibility
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and safety as a way of life
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating shift or permanent day basis
