About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Team Leader to join our team at Australian Health Professionals in Rockhampton, QLD. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing clinical support to ensure optimal client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans in line with best practices and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Coordinate the implementation and evaluation of allied health services, maintaining high standards of care and compliance with policies.
  • Lead and supervise a team, including students and volunteers, by managing performance, conducting training, and handling disciplinary actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Qualification as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
  • General AHPRA Registration, no limitations or restrictions.
  • Minimum 4 years postgraduate Allied Health clinical experience/aged care experience. Desired: Previous leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Dementia Care and Palliative Care specialist services.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check & valid National Police Check.
  • Two successful clinical references.
  • Up to date with Flu (2024 Flu Shot) & COVID-19 Vaccinations (x2 + x1 Booster).
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Ability to meet key performance indicators set by leaders.

  • Base Salary: $105,000 - $110,000 + Superannuation package (Depending on experience/leadership experience).
