About the Role

The Suicide Prevention Team Leader will oversee the delivery of the Warmline and TRISP programs in Queensland, leading a team of coordinators and peer workers to provide non-clinical, peer-led suicide prevention services. This role involves building relationships with stakeholders, managing service governance, and collaborating with mental health consortia to ensure seamless support for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of coordinators and peer workers to deliver high-quality services
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, including mental health consortia and community organizations
  • Oversee service governance, including participant intake, risk management, and critical incidents
  • Collaborate with mental health consortia to ensure seamless support for vulnerable populations
  • Manage service evaluation and reporting to meet objectives
Requirements
  • Relevant degree with appropriate experience, or Associate Diploma, in a field such as Community Sector Management, Community Services, Social Services, or Social Welfare
  • Experience in a supervisory role, leading and coaching teams to deliver high-performance and quality client outcomes
  • Right to work within Australia
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and ability to undertake some travel
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card
  • Working with Children's Check/Blue Card
