About the Role

Mercy Community Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team as a Community Health Specialist. This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity based in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to clients and residents in a community setting, under the supervision of the Team Leader Allied Health.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, treatment, and care plans for clients and residents, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote health and optimal function, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each client or resident.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client and resident assessments, treatment programs, and progress, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with registration.
  • Experience in physiotherapy treatment of adult and elderly clients.
  • Current valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current Queensland Green Provisional Driver's License or higher.
