About the Role

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Specialist General Practitioner to provide confidential and comprehensive clinical services in the assessment and treatment of women accessing services across our Women's Health program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and explaining clinical findings and risks, providing information and treatment in a sensitive manner, taking into consideration cultural differences and individual personal values.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing expert clinical services in the assessment and treatment of women's health issues.
  2. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  3. Liaising with staff across various departments, including medical, nursing, allied health, and government services, to provide appropriate support and expert advice.
  4. Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to meet the unique needs of women accessing our services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. Proof of registration as a Specialist General Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
  2. A primary medical degree and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).
  3. Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program with the appropriate bodies.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
