About the Role
Mercy Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Allied Health Team Leader to join our Community Aged Care team. This is a permanent full-time role that offers a salaried pay level with opportunities for further discussion on experience and qualification pay packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to the designated allied health team to ensure optimum clinical care for our consumers.
- Develop and implement clinical care plans that meet the needs of our consumers, in consultation with the care and service team.
- Maintain accurate and appropriate documentation of care and service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Effectively manage team members and volunteers involved in care and service, ensuring that consumer care needs are met.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Allied Health (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or similar field) with APHRA registration.
- Previous experience in a similar role, either in aged care or similar environments.
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of comprehensive allied health care, consistent with the Regulatory Boards of Australia Registration scope of practice accountabilities.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Dementia Care and Palliative Care specialist services.
- A valid Queensland Driver's Licence.
