Job Role: Telecommunications Installation Manager
About This JobThis is a leadership role requiring strong technical and supervisory skills to oversee the construction of telecommunications sites across NSW.
The successful candidate will lead a team of technicians, coordinating tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and direction to the team, prioritizing tasks and collaborating with other departments as needed
- Manage all allocated works, including work at heights, crane operations, and cable tray installation
- Oversee the onsite construction process, identifying opportunities for improvement and minimizing delays
- Ensure all necessary safety documentation is completed and signed off before commencing work
- Interpret project plans and provide expert advice to the team on work procedures and best practices
- Conduct equipment testing and tagging, maintaining accurate records and contributing to register updates
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in telecommunications installation management
- Certificate in Rigging (Basic minimum)
- Demonstrated expertise in earthing requirements and working at heights
- Ability to operate comfortably at heights regularly
- Solid understanding of telecommunication rigging techniques and best practices
- Radiation Hazards EME Awareness
- MR or HR License preferred
