Our client is actively seeking a Telecommunications Technician

Purpose of position
The Telecommunications Technician is capable of taking on a leadership role in the operation and delivery of assigned tasks and projects in relation to the installation, maintenance and repairing of external telecommunication equipment such as aerial lines, conduits and underground cables, radio and mobile phone antennae system equipment. This role must have excellent knowledge of all carrier BTS/RBS antenna and feeder installations, commissioning and testing, microwave radio installation, panning and testing.

Responsibilities and duties
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the tasks listed in the following table. Essential
- Advanced rigging ticket
- Site specific tower rescue
- Working at heights
- EME awareness
- RF awareness
- Senior first aid
- Driver's Licence
- Police clearance
- Construction induction

Work experience
- Minimum of 3 years' supervision experience working on Telecommunications installations and deployment projects
- Minimum of 5 years' of BTS or Transmission and or other Telecommunications rigging experience
