Telecommunications Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Installation Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have immediate start availability and be willing to work on long-term, ongoing projects with full working weeks.
This role involves working on NBN Fixed Wireless projects.
A contract-based work arrangement is available for the right candidate.
We provide vehicle and tools for the job, and offer competitive pay based on experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Installation of telecommunications cabling and equipment.
- Relocation and removal of tower-mounted equipment.
- Working at heights on telecommunications structures to install antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment.
- Erection and fixing of steel structures for telecommunications equipment installation.
- Termination of various telecommunications cables.
- Testing of cables for compliance with specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- NBN Expansion experience essential or considerable NBN experience with relevant accreditation.
- Intermediate to advanced rigging certification.
- Current driver's license.
- Construction industry white card.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Tower rescue certification.
- Senior first aid training including CPR.
- RF awareness certification (Radhaz).
- Good communication skills and knowledge of safe working practices.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in telecommunication rigging.
