The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Certification Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience who is passionate about technology and innovation. This role involves thorough assessments and evaluations of aircraft designs, systems, and components to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve compliance and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.

You will work on exciting new products for our civil and military clients, build organisational capability, and be responsible for timely, high-quality delivery against challenging project targets. Key Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline, particularly structures, mechanical systems, or electrical systems
  • 3-5 years of relevant aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering industry experience
  • A strong understanding of all legislation and regulations, including FAR/CS Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29
  • Good knowledge of CASR Part 21, strongly desirable
  • Ideal candidate has held a design approval authorisation under a CASA 21.J approved design organisation or similar
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management software (Siemens Teamcenter preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive reviews of aircraft designs, systems, and components to assess compliance
  • Ability to proactively overcome industries' toughest challenges
  • Experience collaborating with design engineers and other stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and develop effective solutions
