The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Certification Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience who is passionate about technology and innovation. This role involves conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of aircraft designs, systems, and components to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
This position collaborates with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve compliance and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality at HeliMods.
You will have the opportunity to work on exciting new products for our civil and military clients, build organisational capability, and contribute to challenging project targets.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of aircraft designs, systems, and components to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve compliance and maintain high levels of safety and quality.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to address non-compliance issues and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant engineering discipline, particularly structures, mechanical systems, or electrical systems.
- 3-5 years of relevant aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering industry experience.
- Strong working knowledge of legislation and regulations, including FAR/CS Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29.
- Good working knowledge of CASR Part 21 strongly desirable.
- Ideal candidate will have held a design approval authorisation under a CASA 21.J approved design organisation or similar.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management software, preferably Siemens Teamcenter.
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
