Aerospace Engineering Internship Opportunity

HeliMods is a world-renowned aerospace technology company based in Queensland, Australia. Our state-of-the-art facility on the Sunshine Coast is home to a team of experts dedicated to developing innovative aerospace products.
We're committed to making a positive impact on local and global communities through our cutting-edge technology. Our products enable critical missions, including emergency medical retrieval, search and rescue, aerial policing, and disaster relief.
The OpportunityWe're seeking high school students with a passion for aerospace, aviation, design, engineering, and manufacturing to join our dynamic team for a work experience program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in a real-world setting.
As a work experience student, you'll have the chance to design and create your own project using CAD software and 3D printing technology. You'll also get to experience our advanced manufacturing capabilities and learn about the various career paths available in the aerospace industry.
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for students who are inquisitive, self-driven, and eager to learn. You should have good listening skills, a healthy curiosity, and a positive attitude. We also expect you to be respectful of our team's time and workload.
To be eligible for this program, you must be in year 10 or above and have a strong passion for the aerospace industry. You'll need to provide a CV as part of your application and meet the following criteria:
- Be in year 10 or above
- Have a strong passion for aerospace, aviation, design, engineering, and/or manufacturing
- Have the permission and paperwork from your school
Our work experience program typically runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm. You'll need to wear long pants, enclosed shoes, and an appropriate shirt. You'll also need to bring your own lunch.
