About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Support Officer to join our team at Monash Council. As a key member of our Horticultural Services Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our business functions, ensuring the effective delivery of our services and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Horticultural Services Department, including preparing reports, managing databases, and maintaining records.
  • Develop and implement business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide customer service and support to internal stakeholders, including responding to queries and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives and improve service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and plans.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of corporate customer and asset management systems, GIS software, and other related contract management software.
  • Well-developed problem-solving, negotiation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with local government environment and experience in leading, developing, and documenting business processes.
  • Right to Work in Australia and satisfactory National Police Check.
