Field Service Coordinator

The role of Field Service Scheduler is pivotal in the smooth operation of our field service team.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the scheduling and dispatching of field service technicians to customer sites to address breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and dispatch field service technicians to customer locations based on geographic location, skills, and urgency of service requests.
- Monitor real-time field activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet customer needs and ensure timely completion of service jobs.
- Communicate job details, including location, customer contact information, and service requirements, to field technicians accurately and promptly.
- Optimize routes and schedules to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency, reducing operational costs where possible.
- Handle customer enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner, working towards swift resolution.
- Collaborate with field technicians and other relevant departments to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records relating to service and breakdown jobs.
- Coordinate quoted Additional Repair jobs and third-party suppliers for breakdown jobs.
- Monitor service Work In Progress.
- Monitor technician's work hours on a daily basis.
