We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team in a Field Service capacity.
As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the scheduling and dispatching of field technicians to customer sites to address breakdowns, scheduled maintenance and repairs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask and problem solve, and a keen eye for detail. This role requires effective coordination with various departments to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements- Efficiently schedule and dispatch field technicians to customer locations based on geographic location, skills, and urgency of service requests.
- Monitor real-time field activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet customer needs and ensure timely completion of service jobs.
- Communicate job details, including location, customer contact information, and service requirements, to field technicians accurately and promptly.
- Optimise routes and schedules to minimise travel time and maximise efficiency, reducing operational costs where possible.
- Handle customer enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner, working towards swift resolution.
- Collaborate with field technicians and other relevant departments to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records relating to service and breakdown jobs.
- Coordinate quoted Additional Repair jobs and third-party suppliers for breakdown jobs.
- Monitor service Work In Progress.
- Monitor technician's work hours on a daily basis.
- Generate regular reports on service metrics, including response times, completion rates, job totals etc and present findings to the Field Service Manager.
