Director of Accounting

The Director of Accounting will oversee the entire accounting process, ensuring that all financial activities are conducted in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The role will involve supervising a team of accountants and managing various aspects of the accounting department, including general accounting, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, cash management, accounts payable, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of accountants and manage daily accounting activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial information
  • Direct month-end close process to prepare financial statements
  • Develop and maintain accounting systems, procedures, and policies
  • Manage budgets, planning, and required filings and reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
  • Minimum 10 years progressive accounting experience
  • 5-7 years in a management role
