Position Summary:

Senior Executive - Safeguards and Integrity

The NSW Electoral Commission is seeking a senior executive to lead key functions protecting and supporting trust in the electoral system. As Assistant Commissioner, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering strategies that safeguard the integrity and security of elections.

  • Lead the strategy for safeguarding the integrity and security of elections, ensuring sound administration of public funding claims.
  • Manage a program of compliance and enforcement work, enabling timely legal services across the organisation.
  • Oversight delivery of protective and strategic cybersecurity plans and services.

For this role, we seek an experienced professional with expertise in leading regulatory, compliance or legal functions in complex public sector settings. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience interpreting legislation, managing regulatory activities and delivering outcomes within high-integrity environments.
