Technology Risk Management Specialist

At ING, our Technology Risk function plays a vital role in empowering Business and Technology Leaders to make informed decisions by providing tailored IT risk advice. As a Technology Risk Management Specialist, you will drive proactive risk management capabilities across Tribes and Centres of Excellence (CoE)you support.

You'll enjoy this role if you have a deep understanding of technology practices and processes in the financial services industry, with experience leading technology risk, security, and audit frameworks. You'll employ a holistic overview of the technology and threat landscape relevant to ING Australia to identify, assess, and monitor key IT risk areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all BAU technology risk and control activities for supported Tribes.
  • Providing advice and challenge on delivered technology risks and enhancement/development of technology controls.
  • Managing the Technology operational risk profile and IT control first-line monitoring.
  • Maintaining the health of IT assets and the overall control environment for Tribes/Coe's.
  • Staying up-to-date with the threat landscape in Australia and globally to provide insights to Tribes/Coe's.

Requirements:

  • Certification in one or more of CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CISM.
  • Experience in Risk Management and/or IT Security is essential.
  • Knowledge of Banking and External Regulations, processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT General Computer Controls (ITGCs), Application-Level Controls, and technical Security Controls from industry frameworks like NIST and CoBIT.
  • Technical understanding of the IT environment, including its architectural direction in context of risk management.
