Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Director to lead our estimation and project delivery team. As a key member of our leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end estimation process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the estimation process for construction projects, driving consistency and quality in estimates.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates using industry-standard tools and first principles pricing.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing and scope data.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior estimators, fostering capability development within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a Lead/Director-level role with estimating within transmission, mining, oil & gas, clean energy, or broader natural resources sectors;
  • Strong technical proficiency in Candy, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Navisworks;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in cost estimates, technical reports, and project documentation;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and bid documents;
  • A collaborative team player who can also work autonomously and mentor junior team members;
