Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable young people, their families, and the community.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering 1:1 or small group support based on individual participant needs. You will also provide direct care in line with service plans and coordinator guidance.

You will have the opportunity to design activities that support the overall well-being of participants, including physical and outdoor activities. You will also help build important life skills such as independence, teamwork, decision-making, and community inclusion.

This is a permanent part-time role located in Blacktown, NSW. Reporting to the TSA Youthlink Skills4Life Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in age-appropriate activities, including work, social, and community involvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability or equivalent qualification;
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance;
  • A valid NDIS Worker Check clearance;
  • Current Driver's license;
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
