Operations Manager for Estimating and Planning

Established as a leading prefab manufacturer in the Australian construction industry, we are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee all estimating functions. Reporting to the Head of Estimation, this key leadership position will drive business success by ensuring optimal resource utilization, workflow efficiency, and delivery of high-quality estimating outputs.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a high-performing team, coordinate department resources, and ensure smooth coordination with internal departments. You will be responsible for exceptional customer service delivery, managing client relationships, and resolving estimating-related issues promptly to support customer satisfaction and retention.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of estimating processes and construction industry practices, and experience in coordinating operations across multiple geographies. You should also have excellent analytical capabilities, proficient in using estimating software, and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations of estimating teams to ensure optimal resource utilization and workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinate department resources to meet business demands and ensure commercial and operational performance targets are met.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination of client requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve estimating-related issues promptly.
  • Oversee quality standards and implement quality control processes to maintain high-quality estimating outputs.
