Key Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join our civil engineering team, focusing on the design and delivery of substation infrastructure projects.

You will coordinate with internal teams, design consultants, and review designs for construction projects and team deliverables.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform, review, and approve substation civil and structural designs in accordance with Australian standards.
  • Review designs prepared by external service providers for compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
  • Provide technical input to resolve complex multidisciplinary issues.
  • Manage design changes to ensure successful project outcomes.
About You:
  • Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience in functional Civil and Structural design areas of transmission network substations.
  • Working knowledge of Australian and international standards and Codes of Practice relevant to substation design.
  • Knowledge and understanding of National Electricity Rules relevant legislation, policies, and procedures applicable to the preparation of designs and specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of engineering business systems like Bentley ProjectWise and design software to develop designs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities effectively.
