Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the operations of our hospitality venues.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing multi-outlet food and beverage operations, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our hospitality venues, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Cross-train team members and set key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive a values-based culture, employee engagement, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Maintain stock levels and enhance product offerings, ensuring that we are always providing the best possible experience for our customers.
  • Ensure a safe and respectful environment for guests, maintaining compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Implement and optimize point-of-sale and stock control systems, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Work with security and other teams to uphold internal policies and procedures.
  • Monitor labor, cost of goods sold, and operational costs, taking corrective action as needed to maintain profitability.
  • Provide regular sales reports and financial summaries, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Skill and Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in multi-outlet food and beverage management.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and managing profit-and-loss accounts.
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
