About the Opportunity

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Office Coordinator (Safety) to join our team at our head office in Brisbane.

This 12-month maternity leave cover, Monday to Friday role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of safety systems and support the safety team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the safety team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Administer the maintenance of safety systems, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake regular safety interactions with stakeholders to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Review and administer critical safety documents, including Safety Bulletins, Initial Incident Notifications, Significant Incident Review, and Health Bulletins.
  • Support and troubleshoot the internal incident reporting system, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Arrange travel arrangements for the team, optimizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage calendars and diaries effectively, minimizing conflicts and maximizing availability.
  • Process and manage Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, and invoices for the safety team, promoting financial discipline and control.
  • Assist with annual subscription management for HSE Systems, ensuring up-to-date compliance.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting submissions, providing valuable insights and analysis.
