About the Role

Hastings Deering, one of the top 5 Caterpillar dealerships globally, is seeking an Administrative Safety Specialist to join our team at our head office in Brisbane.

This 12-month maternity leave cover role offers a Monday to Friday schedule and provides a great opportunity to build a career in safety administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the safety team, including maintenance of safety systems and safety interactions.
  • Review and administer safety bulletins, initial incident notifications, significant incident reviews, and health bulletins.
  • Support and troubleshoot internal incident reporting systems and create PowerPoint presentations for safety meetings.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the safety team and manage calendars and diaries.
  • Process purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices for the safety team.
  • Manage annual subscriptions for HSE systems and assist with monthly and quarterly reporting submissions.

The estimated salary for this role is around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
