Job Description:

The Clinical Nurse Consultant is responsible for providing expert clinical input into the development, delivery, management and evaluation of the Southern Rural Emergency Nursing Exchange Program (RENIX).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in rural and emergency nursing, with at least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience and tertiary nursing qualifications in Emergency Nursing. You must also have at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated expertise in rural and emergency nursing and clinical leadership
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of clinical education programs
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation
