Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. This rewarding role involves working with clients to support their return to work or life goals, providing expert guidance and advocacy to ensure successful outcomes.

  • About the Role:
  • In this challenging and dynamic position, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing rehabilitation plans, and coordinating care services to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • You will work closely with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Your exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to adapt to diverse situations will enable you to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized rehabilitation plans
  • Collaborate with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care delivery
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients to achieve their return to work or life goals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant legislation and guidelines
  • Promote best practices and continuous quality improvement within the team
Requirements:
  • Degree in Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work
  • Professional registration with ASORC or AASW
  • Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
