The ideal candidate will have a professional background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling and be interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector. As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day while being supported by a strong team of driven healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cases of clients with various physical and psychological conditions
- Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
- Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs for employers and employees
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals
- Work across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third-party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
