About the Role
We're seeking an expert in membership services and commercial partnerships to lead our efforts. You'll be responsible for nurturing prospects, supporting existing members, and building long-term relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates.
This role requires trust and engagement, not hard-selling. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our members feel valued, our community thrives, and our events deliver commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow membership by identifying prospects and nurturing relationships across the venue, entertainment, and events industries.
- Drive retention and engagement by delivering high-quality member experiences, from onboarding through to renewal.
- Oversee commercial partnerships, securing sponsorships and ensuring sponsor satisfaction through effective account management.
- Lead exhibitor recruitment and servicing for our flagship event.
- Support delegate experience by coordinating registration, accommodation, and event services.
- Curate and deliver member networking events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in membership, business development, or sales.
- Understanding of recruitment, retention, and servicing in a member or client-focused environment.
- Ability to develop and communicate clear growth strategies.
- Collaborative, organised, and skilled at managing multiple priorities.
- Enjoy travelling, meeting new people, and building authentic connections.
- Bring curiosity, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership.
