Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Medicine Officer to join our team on a casual basis. This role will involve working with patients in the Amputee, Ortho & General Rehab unit and participating in emergency incident response activities as required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and participate in multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, taking into account individual patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices.
Requirements
  • High-level English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care and a strong understanding of rehabilitation medicine principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues, patients and families, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
