About John Holland, a leading infrastructure and building company.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sustainability Specialist to join our team based in NSW. Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, this role will involve providing expert advice on sustainability management techniques and National Construction Code compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor sustainability strategies for projects
  • Provide specialist advice to project teams on sustainability requirements and targets
  • Coordinate day-to-day support for internal and project stakeholders
  • Work with government bodies and professional organisations on sustainability matters
  • Establish and report on key sustainability performance objectives and standards

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Science or other associated disciplines
  • 5+ years' experience within the Sustainability field, preferably in construction industry
  • Sound understanding of sustainability principles and application within the construction industry
  • Passion and drive for driving sustainability in the construction industry
