Job Description

As our Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will play a vital role in protecting ecosystems and driving environmental innovation across our projects and sectors. This involves working closely with Project Managers and external stakeholders to achieve continuous environmental improvement, utilising your excellent communication skills and strong technical expertise.

Your Key Responsibilities

Managing Sustainability and Environmental Aspects: Ensure the sustainability and environmental aspects of our projects are managed in line with best practice principles, contributing to the achievement of organisational and project objectives.

Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with the Project Environmental Management Plan and company Environmental Policy, promoting a positive sustainability and environmental culture within the organisation.

Environmental Regulations: Ensure compliance with contractual environmental specifications, environmental legislation, environmental approvals, and other relevant stakeholder requirements of the project.

You Will Be Successful If You Have:

  • A degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in civil construction in environmental management
  • Prior experience on major infrastructure projects (Transport, Water, Defence) highly regarded
