Role Overview

The Environmental Sustainability Specialist will lead the development and implementation of Red Bull's sustainability strategy in Australia, ensuring alignment with global goals and targets. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental and social sustainability principles and experience working in a large multinational organization or consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability plan for Red Bull Australia, incorporating all aspects of the business, including marketing, sales, operations, and events.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to track and measure Red Bull Australia's CO2 footprint and report on progress via Red Bull tools.
  • Establish partnerships with suppliers, NGOs, and industry bodies to drive sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Red Bull communication team to deliver internal and external communications on sustainability initiatives.
  • Represent Red Bull at external associations and networks to stay up-to-date on the latest sustainability trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a large multinational organization or consulting firm.
  • Demonstrable experience leading projects and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to use program management skills innovatively and remain flexible as the role develops.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to build a network of connections both internally and externally.
  • Experience developing, recommending, and implementing improvements to resolve problems.
  • Subject matter knowledge and expertise of environmental and social sustainability in the food and beverage industries.
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework surrounding sustainability requirements.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Red Bull offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and professional development opportunities.
