About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Procurement team as a Sustainable Procurement Specialist, where you'll play a key role in achieving sustainable value for the business by managing an Ingredients portfolio using a strategic procurement approach aligned with Lion's values and objectives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for the Ingredients category, taking into account both short-term and long-term impacts on the business.
  • Drive value creation for the business while ensuring supply continuity and supporting long-term sustainability.
  • BUILD strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to enhance business partnering and supplier connectivity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Ingredients category.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of categories, addressing projects and issues in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the grain and yeast category spending, ensuring alignment with customer needs.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably with exposure to packaging.
  • A deep understanding of supply chain mechanics, including how manufacturing and design impact commercial outcomes.
  • A solid background in strategic sourcing, contract development, supplier management, and procurement reporting.
